Have you ‘Fired Up Your Feet’ yet?

On Oct. 1, the Colorado Fire Up Your Feet program kicked off a month-long activity-tracking competition for schools using an online tool. If you have a K-8 student in your family (or you’re a teacher or PTA member), help register your school and challenge your children to be active and raise money for your school.

Schools with at least 20% student participation will be entered to win one of two $1,000 prizes for healthy school activities, and other prizes will also be awarded.

October is International Walk to School month (and today was International Walk to School Day). Encourage your kids to be active on the way to school!
