Colorado State Championships

Bicycle Colorado designates and supports events to serve as Colorado State Championships for 29 racing categories for criterium, road racing, time trial, hill climb, XC mountain bike, track and cyclocross.  When possible, state championship designations are awarded to iconic events that have demonstrated a decades-long commitment to the sport and celebrate the legacy of Colorado cycling. 

We provide state championship jerseys (thanks Primal!) to our winners and medals (thanks USA Cycling!) to the top three  in all categories for road, MTB XC and cyclocross.  Awards may differ for other disciplines, such as BMX, track and gravel.

Natural Grocers Criterium – State Criterium (Juniors) – June 29

National VeloStop Race Series & Colorado State Track Championships at BVV – July 4-6

Colorado State XC MTB Championships at Copper Mountain – July 6

Longmont Criterium – State Criterium (Masters) – July 14 

Bob Cook Memorial Blue Sky Hill Climb – State HC – July 20 (not for juniors)
