Discover Denver With Denver Century Ride

Discover Denver

Discover Denver by bike & let the good times roll with the Coldwell Banker Denver Century Ride on September 28, 2024. Nearly 2,000 cyclists will experience Denver’s most bikable streets, dedicated lanes, trails, and parks as the ride returns for the 13th year. The Denver Century Ride is Colorado’s only urban-based ride. Cyclists will bike through City Park, and roll past Union Station and Coors Field, as well as other landmarks.

Routes For Everyone

The ride provides four courses, 100 miles, 85 miles, 50 miles, and 25 miles.

The 25-mile route is for everyone! It showcases the city’s historic neighborhoods and natural gems as you travel through eight city parks on connected bicycle commuter streets and paths. The 50-mile route is the perfect option if you want a great route but do not feel ready for a major climb or extra miles. The 85-mile route takes you with the 100-mile cyclists but bypasses the climb up Lookout Mountain in exchange for a gentler grade over Dinosaur Ridge and its stunning views. Ready for a challenging climb from Golden through Lookout Mountain? The 100-mile route is designed to help cyclists discover how easy it is to get out to the mountains by bike with the Downtown Denver skyline in full view and relish in the proximity of city and country.

Ready To Ride

This ride is fully supported by aid stations, course marshals, and bike mechanics from Epic Mountain Gear. Plus, the meals, sports drinks, and nutritional bars will keep riders of every ability energized throughout the ride.

Considered by many to be Denver’s best post-ride celebration, cyclists as well as their families and friends are invited to celebrate their achievement at the Breckenridge Brewery Post Ride Street Party at the Shops at Northfield. Family members are encouraged to join the spirit of celebration, cold beers, delicious food options, and a lifestyle expo, making a perfect finish to a great day on the bike.

Personally, I love riding in West Denver, the hills are pretty extreme but fulfilling. And if you’re doing the ride alone, people are friendly and others who are also riding alone typically want someone to ride. So the community is really good!
