Event Support Program | Bicycle Colorado

Bicycle Colorado’s Event Support Program was created to support event directors across the state. We help Colorado cycling events to be safe, inclusive and sustainable. In this role, we:

Conduct legislative and advocacy work on behalf of events.
Build connections with host communities, insurance providers, law enforcement, permitting agencies and municipalities.
Manage our Comprehensive Event Calendar as a service to our community.
Work to reduce event date conflicts and mesh our local calendar with national events.
Incorporate competitive collegiate events into the local calendar.
Support events in their relationship with USA Cycling.
Provide access to the Race Kit (which is full of equipment needed to put on a safe and successful event). This Race Kit, located in Lafayette, is available to BC member clubs at very reasonable pricing.
Assist with preregistration race data integrity and USAC results upload.
Assign USAC officials to local races.
Purchase insurance certificates for USAC Motor Referees for our member clubs
