Bicycle racing, like any other organized sport, relies on officials to keep competition safe and fair. BC is committed to recruiting, training and retaining USAC race officials in Colorado.

In this role, we:

  • Coordinate officials’ assignments
  • Structure the calendar for officials’ work
  • Provide professional development opportunities and certification support
  • Manage a body of useful documents for officials
  • Own and distribute race radios for officials’ use
  • Host an annual Officials Meeting
  • Purchase insurance certificates for Motor Officials for local events
  • Work with event directors, officials and race scoring companies to help generate accurate results as quickly as possible
