Pactimo: Colorado company supporting better bicycling

Business Member Spotlight

Pactimo has been a supporter of Bicycle Colorado since 2007.  Recently, I was able to ask Pactimo’s Tony Kelsey about the business and why supporting Bicycle Colorado is important to their product and service offerings.

Tell us about Pactimo. What products and services do you offer?

Pactimo is a Colorado company known for quality, reliability and unsurpassed customer service. We’ve taken our history in manufacturing custom apparel and created a unique direct-to-consumer line. We continuously solicit feedback from our riders, and from rigorous wear-testing in the varied climes and conditions available in our gorgeous home state, and incorporate it in our garment design. We manufacture custom apparel (and have a low minimum order and fast delivery). We also offer a branded-apparel line.

Why does investing in Bicycle Colorado make sense for Pactimo?

Because of our intense love for our beautiful state and the exhilarating sport of cycling, we believe Colorado should lead the nation as one of the most bicycle-friendly places to live in America. With this goal in mind, we passionately support and contribute to Bicycle Colorado.

We stand by and advocate for your mission to encourage and promote bicycling, increase safety, improve conditions and provide a voice for people who ride bicycles in Colorado. We also believe that supporting and promoting cycling in Colorado means strengthening and growing the $1 billion bicycle economy in Colorado, which translates to a healthier economy for everyone.

How has being founded in Colorado shaped Pactimo’s brand and products?

ClimbinginColoradoThe diverse terrain, variable climate and vibrant cycling culture of Colorado has pushed us even further. We design and develop our apparel to perform in all Colorado’s extreme conditions—and know that if it works here, it will work anywhere, anytime.

Whether climbing passes, getting snowed on during descents, fighting the brutal Front Range winds or riding out in 100 degree heat, we are able to test, overhaul, and then retest our full range of apparel to ensure absolute performance for our valued customers.

Thank you, Pactimo, for supporting Bicycle Colorado as a business member!

We’re thrilled to see so many people out enjoying (and often rediscovering the joy of) riding a bike right now, and we’re asking ALL bicyclists to do their part to prevent the spread of #covid19 by wearing a mask or other face covering when out for a ride. Doing so keeps you, your loved ones, those around you, and all Coloradans safer while helping reduce stress on our medical system. If you still need a mask, click the link in our bio to pre-order one now and support our advocacy work! Thanks so much to everyone who has already purchased, and to @primalwear for supporting our efforts over the years. Ride on.
  • #BicycleColorado volunteers and staff members spent time today helping @denverurbangardens and @denverfoodrescue deliver “Grow a Garden” food boxes to home-bound families in Denver—via bike! Supporting our community on two wheels makes for a great way to spend a sunny day. Many thanks to our friends @ddchen47, David M., and @juggernautcargo for your help! Head to denverfoodrescue.org or dug.org to learn more about these great local organizations. #rideyourbike
  • Tonight the #BicycleColorado team celebrated Stacey, our outgoing Development Director, with a virtual happy hour. Stacey has been an absolute rockstar for BC. We’re sad to see her leave, but thrilled for her as she heads out on a new adventure (hopefully in the #BikeAdvocacy space!) in North Carolina. Please join us in wishing her well!
