New Belgium Brewing is famous for being born on a bike ride and being a very bicycle-friendly company. But did you know that the company also sets aside $1 from each barrel of beer they brew to donate to bicycle causes?

Bicycle Colorado received a $30,000 New Belgium Brewing Grant Award, one of just two large grants awarded nationally.

We’re using this funding to boost our work with state leaders and agencies to increase state investment in bicycling and to ensure federal cuts to bicycle transportation funding won’t impact projects or programs as in other states. We’re grateful for New Belgium’s longtime support.
