Colorado State Championships
Bicycle Colorado designates and supports events to serve as Colorado State Championships for 29 racing categories for criterium, road racing, time trial, hill climb, XC mountain bike, track and cyclocross. We provide state championship jerseys (thanks Primal!) to our winners and medals (thanks USA Cycling!) to the top three in all categories for road, MTB XC and cyclocross. Awards may differ for other disciplines, such as track, BMX and gravel. Riders must be Colorado residents in order to earn a Colorado state championship. When possible, state championship designations are awarded to iconic events that have demonstrated a decades-long commitment to the sport and celebrate the legacy of Colorado cycling.

Hill Climb – Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit Pikes Peak HC – Manitou Springs – August 9
Cyclocross – Wild West CX – Golden – December 6
