Businesses want bike lanes
In the Oct. 21 issue of The Denver Business Journal, Bill Husted interviewed Tami Door, president of the Downtown Denver Partnership. Door told Husted that when her staff asked tech companies about what the city can do to make them relocate to Denver—and stay—their answer is (drum roll) bike lanes.
“Ten years ago we never would have thought that walkability or bike lanes would be economic development tools,” Door told Husted.
It’s just one more indication that better bicycle infrastructure is critical to our economy’s health. Read the whole interview.
