Join bicycle and pedestrian advocates on Tuesday, July 29, for a sunset walk, roll, and ride in memory of Alexis Bounds, a mother of two who was killed while riding her bike 6 years ago. Meet at Marion St Parkway and Bayaud Ave at 7 PM to honor Alexis, remember those who have been recently killed or injured while riding their bike in Denver, and then ride around Washington Park and along the Marion Parkway bike lane. Alexis’s mom, Peggy, will be flying in for the memorial ride. This is a celebration of life and a reminder to decision makers that high-quality, protected bike infrastructure is essential to keeping our loved ones safe and building a vibrant city.
