Your Ride Counts!

Bicycle Colorado has partnered with Strava and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) in an innovative effort to bring Colorado to the forefront of bicycle advocacy.

There are countless ways to get from A to B, but getting there by bike isn’t always safe or easy. Thanks to CDOT’s investment in Strava Metro data, Bicycle Colorado has partnered with Strava and CDOT so local planners and advocates (like us!) can make informed decisions, create better routes and improve infrastructure across Colorado by harnessing anonymous data from Strava users.

When you upload your rides on Strava, planning and advocacy organizations are better able to understand where people ride and where they don’t ride. This information is a powerful tool to make improvements and voice the need for bike lanes, multi-use paths and bike-friendly streets.

Strava Metro is only as good as the data fueling its insights. So download Strava for free on your phone or sign up at strava.com and start making all your joyrides count toward a safer and stress-free future.

Take action!  When you use Strava to track your rides, you are helping make Colorado the #1 Bike State.

Step 1: Get Strava

Step 2: Sync your rides

Step 3: Join our Strava Club

Step 4: Share your ride using #YourRideCounts. We’ll share images and rides each week via our social media feeds!
