VeloSwap is America’s most popular consumer bicycle swap and expo. Coming to Denver’s National Western Complex on November 6, VeloSwap will feature over 400 cycling brands, retailers, clubs, non-profits, associations, and 5,000 outdoor enthusiasts. Join us for Colorado’s favorite bicycle event!
Tickets and vendor booths are now available for purchase at veloswap.com.
How it works
To Buy – Come to the event, browse the many booths of bikes and bike equipment, and haggle ‘til you drop! As always, when you renew your Bicycle Colorado membership at VeloSwap (we’ll have staff and volunteers at the entrance) you get a free ticket in to the event! You can also purchase your ticket online, but we encourage you to sign up at the door because it’s a fun and easy way to support Bicycle Colorado and bike advocacy.
To Sell – To sell product at VeloSwap you will need to purchase a booth space. You can find more information and register as a vendor at this link. Although the name says swap, it is more of a buy and sell environment.
Kids 12 years and younger get in for free!
Adults can purchase tickets in advance from $12-15 depending on date cut offs, and $20 at the door or $30 at the door which includes a membership renewal with Bicycle Colorado!
VeloSwap is the largest bike swap in America!
VeloSwap is America’s biggest consumer bike swap and brings together more bicycling enthusiasts, retailers and manufacturers than any other in North America. This year they expected 5,000 enthusiastic shoppers to attend. Cyclists, families, bike commuters, ski lovers, collectors, or gift hunters–all are welcome at VeloSwap, where guests will find end-of-season, clearance discounts on thousands of new and used bikes, apparel, cycling jerseys, socks, bike helmets, bike components, memorabilia, and much more.
In a lively, no-pressure environment, guests enjoy shopping for all things cycling, test rides and demos, and the opportunity to speak with experts and cycling advocacy groups. Those who attend can demo bikes, try on apparel for size and personally inspect items so they know they are getting a good deal.
VeloSwap is also a fun treasure hunting opportunity for those seeking holiday gifts and rare treasures or for collectors interested in Colorado’s storied bicycling past.
Be sure to get your free ticket at the doors of the event when you renew your Bicycle Colorado membership with a volunteer on November 6th. Your donation to Bicycle Colorado on November 6th will also get you in to the expo!
VeloSwap is more than just a bike swap. Tapping partners from Colorado’s vibrant bicycling community, VeloSwap will offer a variety of useful programming. VeloSwap partner organizations include Bicycle Colorado, Bicycle Aurora, Bike Blue, Bike Jeffco, Community Cycles, Lucky Bikes, Project Bike Tech, Wish for Wheels, Roll Massif and dozens of top retailers from all over the U.S. and from neighboring states of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico and Utah.
We’ll see you at the door, where you can buy your ticket directly from your friends at Bicycle Colorado!
Saturday, November 6, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
9:00 a.m. Ticket Office Opens
10:00 a.m. VeloSwap Opens. The best selection of products is, of course, early in the day, which is why many veteran Velo Swappers will start lining up on Humboldt St. an hour or more before the doors open at 10 a.m.
Shop over 400 vendors for new and used bikes, apparel, equipment, and memorabilia!
Enter to win many prizes including giveaways from our partners and sponsors, bike ride entries to Roll Massif sportives, books from VeloPress, VeloNews magazine subscriptions and much much more.
Drop your ticket stub for the raffle at the stage.
Meet dozens of nonprofits, federations, and advocacy organizations to see how you can make a difference in the Colorado cycling community.
4:00 p.m. Doors Close. The best deals are at the end, if that prize piece you are eyeing is still there. That is the gamble: do you grab it quick before anyone else does or wait and hope no one else buys it? Prices ALWAYS drop the last hour of the show! Frequently the seller does not want to cart it home, so deals and negotiating are more common toward the end of the day.
