Whether you live out-of-state, plan to drive up from Denver or even if you call Fort Collins home, this ride weekend will be an elite event unlike any other! Fort Collins is made for lovers of the great outdoors and boasts the title of no. 1 city in America for cycling and Craft Beer Capital of Colorado.
FULLY SUPPORTED, ON AND OFF THE BIKE
Ride to End ALZ is a fully supported event for a range of riders, whether you’re a novice cyclist, weekend warrior or avid enthusiast. The Fort Collins Ride to End ALZ has four route options – 20, 50,70, and 100 miles – that challenge you to go the distance to fight Alzheimer’s.
All routes start and finish at Canvas Stadium on the Colorado State University campus in beautiful Fort Collins, CO.
The 20-mile course is perfect for beginners that want to enjoy the urban tour of this historic city along with a hint of the foothills and countryside.
The 50, 70 and 100-mile routes will head west towards Horsetooth Reservoir and experience the steep climb up to the top which will all be worth it when you get to the picturesque view along the water!
The 70 and 100-miles will continue NW and have to complete around 2,000-3,000 feet in elevation gain; experiencing the Rocky Mountains in a way you will never forget!
THE WEEKEND
The ride itself might only take you a few hours on Sunday, but we’ve made this a turn-key weekend getaway for you, even if you are local. Stay in one of the historic hotels downtown on Friday and/or Saturday night, join us at New Belgium Brewery for a private tour when you get your packet, eat lunch from one of the famous food-trucks and then bring a friend or date to the VIP dinner on Saturday night with some shopping or exploring in between!

Saturday, June 11th
- 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Packet Pickup at New Belgium Brewery.
Pick up your packet and then you and a guest are invited to enjoy a beverage while relaxing or shopping. If you pick up your packet on Saturday, you can just roll up to the starting line on Sunday (you can also pick up your packet on Sunday morning). - 4 – 8 p.m. VIP Dinner at Ginger and Baker.
This exclusive first- class event is for those that have raised $1,000+ and want the chance to talk about the current and future Alzheimer’s Research Projects we will fund together. It will feel red carpet, but leave the black ties and dresses at home and come casual to listen to live music, eat (and drink) award- winning culinary amazingness!
Sunday, June 12th
- 6 – 7 a.m. Check In at Canvas Stadium on the CSU Campus. No need to check-in on Sunday morning, if you came to the packet pickup on Saturday.
- 7 – 8 a.m. Ride Start
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Ride Post Party at the New Belgium Porch at Canvas Stadium. A fully catered lunch, drinks, and live music will be provided for all participants (tickets for guests can be purchased at the event). We will stay until the last rider crosses the finish line!
RIDE TO END ALZ FUELS RESEARCH
As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s disease research, the Alzheimer’s Association is setting the pace of the field with innovation and investment — and you’re setting the pace with each pedal stroke.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. But you can help change that. The funds you raise through Ride to End ALZ directly impact the Association’s ability to accelerate science toward methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
The registration donation is $75 that goes towards your fundraising minimum of $500. The Alzheimer’s Association Ride to End ALZ is a cycling event to directly impact the pace and momentum behind the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Inspired by science and driven by a determination to end this disease, participants in Ride to End ALZ raise funds and awareness to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. 100% of the proceeds go to Alzheimer’s research.
Join us as we cycle toward scientific progress in the fight against Alzheimer’s. With each mile, you will fuel cutting-edge research with the potential to change the trajectory of the disease. Challenge yourself to go the distance for all those affected while raising funds and awareness to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s.
