The 50, 70 and 100-mile routes will head west towards Horsetooth Reservoir and experience the steep climb up to the top which will all be worth it when you get to the picturesque view along the water!

THE WEEKEND

The ride itself might only take you a few hours on Sunday, but we’ve made this a turn-key weekend getaway for you, even if you are local. Stay in one of the historic hotels downtown on Friday and/or Saturday night, join us at New Belgium Brewery for a private tour when you get your packet, eat lunch from one of the famous food-trucks and then bring a friend or date to the VIP dinner on Saturday night with some shopping or exploring in between!

Whether you live out-of-state, plan to drive up from Denver, or even if you call Fort Collins home, let us plan a weekend getaway that will be memorable for both you and your date.

Saturday, June 11th

  • 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Packet Pickup at New Belgium Brewery.

RIDE TO END ALZ FUELS RESEARCH

As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s disease research, the Alzheimer’s Association is setting the pace of the field with innovation and investment — and you’re setting the pace with each pedal stroke.

Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. But you can help change that. The funds you raise through Ride to End ALZ directly impact the Association’s ability to accelerate science toward methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

The registration donation is $75 that goes towards your fundraising minimum of $500. For a limited time, use the discount code: HALFSPECIAL (all caps-no spaces) to receive half-off the registration donation. All riders will receive a t-shirt, medal and jersey, along with a fully catered lunch, drinks and entertainment.

Sign up today at alz.org/ride.

Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. But you can help change that. 100 percent of the funds you raise will go toward the Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Join us as we cycle toward scientific progress in the fight against Alzheimer’s. With each mile, you will fuel cutting-edge research with the potential to change the trajectory of the disease. We’re thrilled to see so many people out enjoying (and often rediscovering the joy of) riding a bike right now, and we’re asking ALL bicyclists to do their part to prevent the spread of #covid19 by wearing a mask or other face covering when out for a ride. Doing so keeps you, your loved ones, those around you, and all Coloradans safer while helping reduce stress on our medical system. If you still need a mask, click the link in our bio to pre-order one now and support our advocacy work! Thanks so much to everyone who has already purchased, and to @primalwear for supporting our efforts over the years. Ride on.
  • #BicycleColorado volunteers and staff members spent time today helping @denverurbangardens and @denverfoodrescue deliver “Grow a Garden” food boxes to home-bound families in Denver—via bike! Supporting our community on two wheels makes for a great way to spend a sunny day. Many thanks to our friends @ddchen47, David M., and @juggernautcargo for your help! Head to denverfoodrescue.org or dug.org to learn more about these great local organizations. #rideyourbike
  • Tonight the #BicycleColorado team celebrated Stacey, our outgoing Development Director, with a virtual happy hour. Stacey has been an absolute rockstar for BC. We’re sad to see her leave, but thrilled for her as she heads out on a new adventure (hopefully in the #BikeAdvocacy space!) in North Carolina. Please join us in wishing her well!
