Littleton Twilight Criterium

We had lots of race action, music and fun in 2017!

A “criterium” race is defined as a timed circuit around a short, technical course. Spectators can watch the racers fly by the 0.8 mile course at nearly 30 mph at the Littleton Twilight Criterium! The event is part of USA Cycling’s National Calendar. There will be six total races, highlighted by the Men’s and Women’s Professional races under the lights.

We had entertainment!
Race spectators danced the night away with an old-school rock band, a Police tribute band and one of Denver’s top party bands:

  • Blinker Fluid
  • Message in a Bottle
  • Home Slice

We had a beer garden!
The festive beer garden, located on Prince Street, complete with lawn games and craft brews from our partners at Breckenridge Brewery.

And we had the Colorado Classic!
Reps from the Colorado Classic Bike Race were on hand to sell discounted tickets to its Velorama Festival which took place the next weekend in Denver. Also, all registered riders at the Littleton Twilight Criterium received a free entry into the Colorado Classic festival!

Bicycle Colorado

Thanks, @AndiMann. Nothing that we're aware of in @bouldercolorado or @bouldercounty, but that doesn't mean there c…

Thanks for sharing, @StreetsblogDen. We're excited to bring greater attention to the issues we see in bike lanes.

  • Always good to see our logo out on the trail!
  • Our communications manager (yours truly) leaves his @warbyparker #warbyhometryon out on his desk during a meeting and look what happens… #pranksters #lookingood #bicyclecolorado
  • Glad to see the bicycle repair station at Wash Park getting put to good use (even if we never like to see a fellow bicyclist in need)! Thanks for putting these up, @denverparksrec—you helped him get home safe!
