Colorado CF Cycle for Life

Colorado CF Cycle for Life is a fully-supported ride with route options for riders of all abilities. Riders will benefit from fully stocked rest stops every 12 miles, bike mechanics for maintenance and repairs, volunteers to cheer you along the way and support vehicles to help you complete the ride.  From breakfast to our post pedal party, you will be empowered and inspired to continue the fight to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

The 65-mile and 50-mile routes climb through beautiful Lefthand Canyon while the 32-mile route is mostly flat with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains.

Registration for the 2020 Colorado CF Cycle for Life will be opening soon!

Cystic fibrosis cycle for life ride

Why We Ride

CF Cycle for Life is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s premiere cycling event. Each year, thousands of cyclists gather in dozens of cities across the nation to take part in an exciting effort to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis.

In 2017, CF Cycle for Life raised nearly $3.5 million to help bring us closer to a cure, while adding tomorrows, for those struggling with cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disease.  While tremendous progress has been made toward finding a cure, the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. The public’s continued support will help us fulfill our mission and reach our ultimate goal: a cure for all people with this disease.

Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life provides a great opportunity for companies and groups of friends and family members to come together and ride in support of a worthy cause. If you are a biking enthusiast, take your ride to the next level by signing up for CF Cycle for Life and help add tomorrows to the lives of those with cystic fibrosis today.

  • #BicycleColorado supporter FattE-Bikes is offering a holiday promo for new bike buyers now through Thanksgiving weekend! If you’ve been thinking about getting either a fat bike or an e-bike, now’s the time to do both (and support a local Colorado business while you’re at it)!

I left at 31 ° this morning. Contrary to what I have believed my entire life, you can ride a bike at that temperature. However, I miss having hair, because 31 degrees, going ~25 mph down a hill, is really cold when it goes through the helmet and hits the bald head. @bicyclecolo #bicyclecommute #lesscars
  • #BicycleColorado staffers spent part of the afternoon with @denverparksrec experiencing riding on adaptive bikes, including hand cycles and recumbent bikes. We are firm believers in #experientiallearning, and we were grateful to gain some first-hand knowledge about this kind of riding. Plus, it was really fun!
