Deschutes is bringing their pop-up pub of epic proportions to Denver on Saturday, October 17th. They’re setting up a 402-foot custom bar on 21st Street between Blake and Larimer, and they’re donating all the proceeds to us!

Denver is the sixth stop on the Deschutes Street Pub tour and the event has grown as it’s moved across the country. We want to make the Denver event the biggest and best yet!

Not only will there be a huge selection of Deschutes Brewery beers flowing from the Street Pub’s multitude of taps, but there will be great food to pair with it. Deschutes Brewery’s corporate executive chef, Jeff Usinowicz, will be teaming up with local Denver chefs Jake Grant of Euclid Hall and Carrie Baird of Brazen to create some dishes that complement the many beers being served (think everything from the easy-drinking Mirror Pond Pale Ale all the way to the big and bold flavors of The Abyss).

The event will also feature bar games for prizes, special samplings and a simply amazing live, local music lineup that includes Red Fox Run, The Outliers, Emily Clark & The Passing Fancy and headlining act Fox Street. Plus it’s family friendly with kid’s activities, so bring the whole family!

Want to see what it’s all about? Watch a video of the Bend Street Pub.

Entry is free, so grab your friends and family and come check it out. RSVP here if you plan to attend!

Calling all volunteers! We need your help to make this event a success. All volunteers will receive Deschutes Brewery swag, food and, of course, beer for those who are of age. Interested? You can find details and sign up here.

We’re thrilled to see so many people out enjoying (and often rediscovering the joy of) riding a bike right now, and we’re asking ALL bicyclists to do their part to prevent the spread of #covid19 by wearing a mask or other face covering when out for a ride. Doing so keeps you, your loved ones, those around you, and all Coloradans safer while helping reduce stress on our medical system. If you still need a mask, click the link in our bio to pre-order one now and support our advocacy work! Thanks so much to everyone who has already purchased, and to @primalwear for supporting our efforts over the years. Ride on.
  • #BicycleColorado volunteers and staff members spent time today helping @denverurbangardens and @denverfoodrescue deliver “Grow a Garden” food boxes to home-bound families in Denver—via bike! Supporting our community on two wheels makes for a great way to spend a sunny day. Many thanks to our friends @ddchen47, David M., and @juggernautcargo for your help! Head to denverfoodrescue.org or dug.org to learn more about these great local organizations. #rideyourbike
  • Tonight the #BicycleColorado team celebrated Stacey, our outgoing Development Director, with a virtual happy hour. Stacey has been an absolute rockstar for BC. We’re sad to see her leave, but thrilled for her as she heads out on a new adventure (hopefully in the #BikeAdvocacy space!) in North Carolina. Please join us in wishing her well!
