Four routes are offered: 100, 85, 50 and 25 miles. The founders of the Coldwell Banker Denver Century Ride believe that cycling is not just a sport but a way of life. That is why the Denver Century Ride explores the many diverse neighborhood streets of the metro area and supports cycling advocacy groups.

Relish in the proximity of city and country on the 100-mile route, designed to help cyclists discover how easy it is to get out to the mountains by bike with the downtown Denver skyline in full view. This ride highlights some of Denver’s best bicycle commuter routes and most famous cycling spots, including a challenging climb from Golden through Genesee Park.

Like the 100 mile route, the 85-mile route is designed to help cyclists discover how easy it is to get out to the mountains by bike with a little bit of a distance reprieve. This route eliminates the challenging ascent through Genesee Park, as not everyone has the need to climb like a mountain goat.

The 50-mile route is designed to help cyclists discover the myriad of roads to ride within the Denver metro area. It highlights some of Denver’s bicycle commuter routes and casual riding areas through city parks, historic neighborhoods and the Cherry Creek Reservoir.

The 25-mile route is for everyone! It showcases the city’s historic neighborhoods and natural gems as you travel through eight city parks on connected bicycle commuter streets and paths. Almost anyone can do this ride, and it can be done on a road, hybrid or mountain bike.

Not only will you have a wonderful, exploratory day riding in the Denver Century Ride, but you can feel good about it. This ride benefits bicycle advocacy in Colorado by donating $10 of every long-distance registration to three non-profit organizations: Bicycle Colorado, BikeDenver and Bike Jeffco, each of which works to enhance cycling in Colorado.

By the way, the Denver Century Ride is considered by many to have the city’s best post-ride celebration. Participants and their families and friends are invited to celebrate the ride achievement at the Denver Century Ride’s Street Party at the Shops at Northfield Stapleton. With entertainment, Michelob Ultra beer, an awesome expo and fantastic food options provided by the restaurants of Northfield Stapleton, it makes a great end to the day.

We’re thrilled to see so many people out enjoying (and often rediscovering the joy of) riding a bike right now, and we’re asking ALL bicyclists to do their part to prevent the spread of #covid19 by wearing a mask or other face covering when out for a ride. Doing so keeps you, your loved ones, those around you, and all Coloradans safer while helping reduce stress on our medical system. If you still need a mask, click the link in our bio to pre-order one now and support our advocacy work! Thanks so much to everyone who has already purchased, and to @primalwear for supporting our efforts over the years. Ride on.
  • #BicycleColorado volunteers and staff members spent time today helping @denverurbangardens and @denverfoodrescue deliver “Grow a Garden” food boxes to home-bound families in Denver—via bike! Supporting our community on two wheels makes for a great way to spend a sunny day. Many thanks to our friends @ddchen47, David M., and @juggernautcargo for your help! Head to denverfoodrescue.org or dug.org to learn more about these great local organizations. #rideyourbike
  • Tonight the #BicycleColorado team celebrated Stacey, our outgoing Development Director, with a virtual happy hour. Stacey has been an absolute rockstar for BC. We’re sad to see her leave, but thrilled for her as she heads out on a new adventure (hopefully in the #BikeAdvocacy space!) in North Carolina. Please join us in wishing her well!
