Colorado Bicycle Summit Nears
We are full steam ahead here at Bicycle Colorado preparing for our fourth-annual bike summit, taking place Feb. 10 and 11 in downtown Denver. This event has been tagged a “must attend” by many past registrants for both the networking value and educational benefits.
- Learn best practices for making change happen at the city, county and state levels
- Learn about bicycle-related issues for the 2014 Colorado Legislative Session
- Spend the morning at the State Capitol, with access to state legislators
- Network with bicyclists of all flavors at the Summit Happy Hour
We are honored to welcome back Governor Hickenlooper and excited to have Andy Clarke flying in from the League of American Bicyclists in Washington, DC, as our keynote speaker. Andy has many years of experience as a bicycling advocate with the League and brings a national perspective to bicycling in the US. We have also just added John Ricks of the Colorado Tourism Office as a plenary speaker.
Bicycle summit fun and learning
Our SWAG bags are coming together, meals are planned and our breakout session speakers are working together to prioritize information they can share to help you improve bicycling in your own communities. We are particularly excited about a new brainstorming breakout session which will generate ideas on getting more women on bicycles.
We have registrants from across the state which will increase our impact during our lobby day at the state Capitol.
Thank you sponsors!
