Biking to Small Town Success

Rifle Bike video

I sometimes hear perceptions that biking and walking are only for people living in Colorado’s largest cities. In reality, many small towns and rural communities benefit greatly by encouraging active transportation for residents. Many also benefit by attracting visitors who bike through promoting local trails and especially through biking and open streets events.

This five-minute video showcases the amazing bicycle efforts of Rifle, Colorado (population 9,200.)

Rifle officials presented at the recent New Partners Conference in Denver. Please take a look and see how biking can help in the economic development of a small town.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
