Your Dream Bike, Handcrafted in Colorado

Here’s your chance to win the USA-made Alchemy Lycos Au, engineered, designed and hand-built entirely in the USA by some of the industry’s most renowned fabricators.

The Lycos Au is every bit as capable, and purpose-built for gravel riding as the Lycos itself, but the weight-savings make this bike a race-ready option as well. The high modulus carbon construction and revised layup make this bike even more responsive, while the dropped chainstays and shaped seat tube give some comfort at the same time. The lightweight finishing options help to protect the carbon frame from the elements, while still letting you see the craftsmanship below. Clearance for 50mm tires and optional rack and fender mounts give this bike unparalleled versatility.

To make this bike even more exciting, we are pairing it with the newly released SRAM Force AXS drivetrain. Tailored to the needs of drop bar riders, SRAM’s new 1x-specific XPLR AXS wireless drivetrains target a gearing sweet spot. With a 10-44T cassette and matching derailleur, you get big range for gravel climbs and tight jumps for fast riding on road. A special thanks to our friends at Alchemy Bikes and SRAM for supporting this phenomenal raffle prize!

  • Frame finish: Black/unfinished
  • Frame size:  You’ll select the desired size from their six stock sizes ranging from XS-XXL
  • Components:  SRAM Force AXS XPLR 1X
  • How the winner gets their new bike:  Winner will either pick it up alongside a sweet factory tour of the Alchemy headquarters in Golden,  or it will be pre-assembled and shipped if you cannot visit Alchemy in person.

Testimonial

“I believe strongly that if more people ride bikes in comfort, many will adopt them as active transportation. I support Bicycle Colorado because they are dedicated to providing safe routes to school for our children and safe, convenient routes to work and exercise for adults through their work with our state and local governments.”

We’re thrilled to see so many people out enjoying (and often rediscovering the joy of) riding a bike right now, and we’re asking ALL bicyclists to do their part to prevent the spread of #covid19 by wearing a mask or other face covering when out for a ride. Doing so keeps you, your loved ones, those around you, and all Coloradans safer while helping reduce stress on our medical system. If you still need a mask, click the link in our bio to pre-order one now and support our advocacy work! Thanks so much to everyone who has already purchased, and to @primalwear for supporting our efforts over the years. Ride on.
  • #BicycleColorado volunteers and staff members spent time today helping @denverurbangardens and @denverfoodrescue deliver “Grow a Garden” food boxes to home-bound families in Denver—via bike! Supporting our community on two wheels makes for a great way to spend a sunny day. Many thanks to our friends @ddchen47, David M., and @juggernautcargo for your help! Head to denverfoodrescue.org or dug.org to learn more about these great local organizations. #rideyourbike
  • Tonight the #BicycleColorado team celebrated Stacey, our outgoing Development Director, with a virtual happy hour. Stacey has been an absolute rockstar for BC. We’re sad to see her leave, but thrilled for her as she heads out on a new adventure (hopefully in the #BikeAdvocacy space!) in North Carolina. Please join us in wishing her well!
